Parent & Carer Support

At Spectrum Village, we are passionate about supporting not only children and families, but also the wider community involved in a child’s development, including parents, carers, educators, early childhood professionals, schools, and community organisations.

We offer professional development, consultation, and tailored support services in both one-on-one and group settings, designed to build confidence, understanding, and practical strategies that can be implemented in everyday environments.

Our services and programs may include:

  • Autism support and neurodiversity-informed education
  • Language and communication development
  • Occupational therapy and movement-based programs
  • Emotional regulation and sensory support strategies
  • Early childhood developmental screeners
  • Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs)
  • School and early childhood consultations
  • Therapy-informed support for educators and carers
  • Fun with Movement and other movement-based intervention packages
  • Parenting and family capacity-building programs
  • Positive behaviour support and regulation strategies for home and school environments
  • Parent coaching focused on communication, routines, emotional regulation, and daily living skills
  • Neuroaffirming parenting education and practical strategy workshops
  • Collaborative support planning between families, educators, and allied health professionals
  • Social-emotional development programs and relationship-based support strategies
  • Professional development workshops for educators, support staff, and community organisations
  • Individualised consultation packages tailored to the needs of schools, childcare settings, and families

We work collaboratively with early learning centres, schools, homeschooling families, allied health teams, and community organisations to create supportive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environments for children and young people.

Our team understands that every child is unique, and we value practical, relationship-based approaches that empower the adults supporting them every day.

If your organisation, school, or family would like to learn more about how Spectrum Village can support your setting, we welcome you to get in touch with our team.
