Allied Health Assistants (AHA)

An Allied Health Assistant (AHA) works under the guidance and supervision of qualified therapists such as Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and Psychologists to help deliver therapy programs and support clients in achieving their goals. They carry out therapy activities designed by the supervising therapist, assist with skill-building and practice between sessions, help prepare resources, and support families in implementing strategies at home and in the community. Their role enhances the consistency and intensity of therapy, ensuring clients receive high-quality, goal-focused support that aligns with their individual treatment plans.
